Serious skullduggery?

Air Force cargo plane
WM special correspondent
It was the first week of March a air force cargo plane flying from New Delhi safely landed on the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu.
After landing, it enjoyed the privilege of special handling provided by the TIA authority. The air force cargo plane was allowed to unload its cargos with a greater degree of secrecy and sanctity.
However, the motive behind the entry of the air force cargo plane into Nepal and the nature of cargos it contained are bewilderingly mysterious.
Likewise, the question as to who actually instructed the TIA management to give the facility of special handling to the cargo air force coming from New Delhi is, at best, strangely unanswered.
From every standpoint, the extent of latitude the air force cargo plane enjoyed at the TIA entails proper justification from the concerned authorities. After all, it is not an issue of lesser significance. More so, it has come at a time when the country is reeling through critically sensitive phase.
But, unfortunately, the government has not bothered to utter a single word regarding this seemingly furtive activity.
This has only reinforced the belief that the current wobbly coalition has totally failed to steer the country in a right direction.
It goes without mentioning that every democratically government must be liable to inform the public about the issues of vital importance.
And, the way the government is maintaining silence on the issue of air force cargo gives ample space to say that external forces are ceaselessly indulging themselves in capitalizing upon the political disarray in the country.
Moreover, the dog-eat-dog competition amongst the major parties for the sake of power at the expense of urgent national agendas is only provoking more external skullduggery in Nepal.
